The U.S. Supreme Court rulings in June 1998 make it easier than ever for employees to sue their organization for sexual harassment. The court's ruling that an employer may be held liable when a manager or supervisor sexually harasses a coworker, even if the employee's job isn't harmed, puts an enormous burden on employers to eliminate sexual harassment.
Now, more than ever, it is critical for employers to proactively train their employees on how to identify, deal with and prevent sexual harassment from occurring.
